Build Day 5 turned into more of a shopping trip than an actual build day. However, we needed many things that we could not have done without. The trip to Akihabara was also enlightening in the fact that we may have found a few simpler solutions to some of the engineering issues we were facing including the ability to do the VGA to LVDS output for the laptop type display.
After going over pages and pages of notes the previous night, we have a fairly focused trip and in two hours of actual shopping, purchased all of the remaining parts other than those which have been ordered via EBay or the mail.
Things are progressing and at this point we are awaiting parts in the mail to arrive to complete the build. More updates coming soon.
